Something special for everyone today, the Mizuno Japan only MP-15 forged irons. In the states Mizuno went with the MP-25 and I have no idea why as these MP-15's pack more tech and have a better shape. The head size is roughly the same as the MP-59 irons but they made the cavity deeper lowering the cg depth and added weight that expands across a large portion of the head heel to toe. We have a ton of great pics to show you after the jump...
After many months of not having any stock we finally received more of the Seven X Shinagawa MB. Unfortunately, it's only 25 sets, but we are doing our best to get more. This is a custom finish called white satin completely matte no glare with good durability and excellent feel. The standard no up-charge finish is copper under chrome satin! Let me repeat these come stock with copper underlay + nicr chrome satin.
Another thing we are doing now is offering #5-PW with optional #4 this was a common request, and we listened, the last time it was 3-PW only. So those are the two differences this year for the SEVEN MB, Copper Underlay, 5-PW option, and a new finish offered called white satin. Follow the Jump to Read More...
Your looking at Miura golf's new CB-2008 iron! For the first time in 4 years Miura will update the 2000 series! The Long irons are 2 piece while the short irons 1 piece. It features the widest sole in any of their line up! What miura is doing is actually genius, they are using the capabilities of their partner in taiwan together with Miura's polishing, grinding capabilities to create some seriously sexy looking irons that have tech like undercuts or 2 piece heads. We smell only success in their future if new releases continue to look like this.
Last week on our instagram and facebook pages TSG Club Works revealed a set of custom Epon P3's. Today we have another 4-PW this time in white satin which is a new golf specific finish developed at the refinishing factory. This iron set also has a custom leading edge grind. The White Satin is a matte finish whiter than traditional satin yet there is no glare.
Last weeks set sold in less than a day from listing in the TSG ProShop I have also included those photos after the jump...
Introducing the New Titleist T-MB 718 Irons - The 2017 Japan Golf Fair is nearing just a couple of months away scheduled to take place during the last week of March. We are expecting many new Japan Only Titleist clubs mostly due to the fact that we are getting notices of current models being discontinued. It started with the Vokey Cold Forged then the T-MB and now we are starting learn a bit more about what's next to come from Titleist.
Like the 716 T-MB the new 718 T-MB by Titleist looks like a muscle back but features a hollow structure making it very forgiving for it's size. This is the first sight of a model named "718" with the 716 series destined to be replaced with the same moniker on the future. Titleist has expanded the tungsten structure on the heel and toe side bringing the MOI up and lowering the CG to make it even easier to hit. We do expect a #2 iron as well. Titleist Japan is saying that they have found a way to make the new T-MB more forgiving than even the current model AP2. TSG will have pre-orders up for these very shortly so stay tuned!
Great news Bridgestone fans TSG is now offering factory customizations on the the Tour-B's from Bridgestone Golf. This is a custom set of Honma Tour World TW737P Irons - TSG is now offering these to our clients via email order and in the TSG ProShop. The "P" model is the most forgiving in the TourWorld line up It is the only cast iron of the TW737 series. Honma has been a leader in golf specific castings for decades and is implementing a new soft iron casting manufacturing method.
Honma has also thinned out the top line yet still managed to keep the CG low. The face itself is a hot hybrid steel material for improved distance. Behind the impact zone Honma has strengthend and thickened the area for a softer more mild impact. The TW737P is the most forgiving of the TW series, then one step more forgiving is the BeZeal line up followed by the Beres models for seniors, smoother, and female golfers. Hello Beautiful... MP-66 Yoro Craft Irons and TSG has thrown the kitchen sink into these. Where to start? The MP-66's are Mizuno's newest iron, it's Japan Only and Mizunos new flagship players CB. It's small, soft, and forgiving. Much more forgiving than it's predecessor.
Our customers absolutely love the MP-5, MP-55 and MP-66. The feedback has been outstanding in feel and forgiveness across all three of those models. When you add over the top options to these sets it takes them from great to amazing depending on your specific needs. We got some great pics to drool at after the jump...
Honma Golf's new TW737 series is incredible. TSG will be showing you the full line up starting off with what could be the Best Blade to hit the market in a while. Honma already had the TW727M blade which was a small, narrow and workable choice so a blade that offered more forgiveness and larger dimensions was great next move.
The new TW-BM in comparison with the 727M has a taller and wider face. Professional JPGA star Hideto Tanihara asked Honma to enlarge the head of the TW717M to try an MB that was forgiving. Instead of simply enlarging the size of the head they completely redesigned the blade from the ground up using CAD to optimize the CG so that this club maintains control and great feeling at impact with a larger sweet spot.
