It’s been a long time since we have seen anything from the Japanese Wedge company Zodia. They have just announced to close sources only a new ZZ01 wedge for the Japanese market that looks pretty good.
The ZZ01 is forged of S25C in Japan and hand ground by Chiba himself. There are already several JPGA and Amatuer players that are using them. For a short period Zodia became rather popular in the United States in the underground golf scene but later no new products were released and the brand popularity quickly faded. Let’s hope Chiba san is back and releases more quality wedges in the future.
There are pretty much only 3 custom made golf club crafters in Japan. Gold’s Factory, Grind Studio & Zodia. In my opinion Gold’s Factory offers the highest quality of the 3 brands along with the best variaty in their product line up. If anyone is interested drop TSG an email they already have these available.
I am looking to buy new zodia premium tour proto’s in 54 and 59 degree with
KBS shafts-very little boune on both
please advise the availability for these and the price.
thanks
If your gonna lay hard earned cash down I suggest purchasing a better made product than Zodia. There are so many other brands that would not only perform better but are made of better materials and bring more value for your money. Have a look at the ONOFF S-Forged S20C wedge, Fourteen V5 Wedge, Crazy 2010 Wedge, PRGR, and Yamaha just to name a few. Zodia is a bit dated, but if you are stuck on that wedge please PM or Email one of us and we can set you up with the price.
