Here is the 3rd and final video from the Yamaha 2009 Inpres X lineup promos following the Driver and FW/UT videos that were posted earlier. Last year saw the first relase of the Inpres X V Forged Irons including the standard model and the Limited Tour Model. The Tour Model sold out its 1000 sets in less than a month and the standard model along with the Tour were considered two of the best player/athlete cavity backs for 2008.
Yamaha released upgraded versions of the Inpres X V Forged line for 2009 again with a standard model and a Limited Tour Model. The Limited model has long sold out and both are again among the most highly rated irons of 2009. Both irons are forged in Japan from premium S20C steel. The Tour Model features very little offset and a compact head with sharper toe and a focus on control and accuracy. The slightly larger standard V Forged is a bit rounder in shape and has a touch more offset and is of course the more forgiving of the two but still has a focus on playbility. If you are looking for wondeful feel and control in a great looking forged iron, the V Forged models are your calling.
At the same time, Yamaha released the D-Steel and D-Black models aimed at the average to better golfer. The D-Steel is a forgiving all around model shafted with lightweight steel while the D-Black is the average to beginner model featuring a graphite shaft option.
