New TourStage 703 Drivers & Irons are set to release December 4th, 2009. The new 460cc features a round semi pear orthodox shape which improves the performance especially in the area of face expansion and the drivers ability to grab the ball and rebound like a trampoline off the face.
The TourStage 703 Driver uses CUP forged titanium in it’s face and is made using a 7 piece head structure. TourStage claims that the with this new technology they have found a way to increase the sweet spot by a staggering 10.6%! If what they say is true this will make the new 703 Driver the most forgiving TourStage 1W ever produced. With a rounded heel area, flatter design crown and semi pear shape their aim was to make a players driver with loads of forgiveness yet inspires confidence in any player.
The new 703 X-Blade Irons feature a lower center of gravity compared to last years model like the new driver they are aiming for a more user friendly product. A player designed setup with forgiveness designed for the mid handicap player make this an exciting addition to Japan’s Bridgestone line up. The trajectory of the new X-Blade 703 irons is supposed to be piercing and strong with low spin which is optimal for windy conditions. Compared to previous X-Blade models this one has a slightly larger sole and just a touch more offset in the neck
The New TourStage 703 Driver will be available standard with a new TourAD B10-01w shaft and the new TourAD DI-6 shaft depending on the golfers swing type. The new X-Blade 703 Irons are standard available with the usual dynamic gold, NSpro. Both clubs may be ordered custom from TourSpecGolf.
