Three Luck, makers of the very popular and very good Sky Dream Jump D-Tour forged wedges, released early this year the DP-2010 wedge. The DP-2010 is an all new hand crafted wedge made from a new damp alloy material that features magnesium content. This damp alloy is 3 times harder than S25C and far more durable. So you may think 3 times harder means it must feel hard? But the wedge in fact feels like soft forged steel due to its absorption characteristics which create a pro spec style wedge that really grabs the ball at impact creating major spin. This new damp alloy also significantly reduces vibration and increases stability of the head for more control and feel. The versatile D-Tour grind allows for the face to be opened when needed and is good in any lie.
The process for creating this wedge is very cumbersome and done totally by the hand of a skilled craftsman at Three Luck as the head requires a heat and then polish treatment done by hand five times over because of material of the wedge. The face is CNC milled to add to that extra bite. So three times harder than S25C but feels like forged at impact and bites the ball more than any other wedge with a versatile pro spec grind and straight neck. Sounds pretty good to me!
Thee luck continues to grow its tour presence here in Asia and yesterday I was lucky enough to receive two tour prototype DP-2010 wedges from the Three Luck Tour van. With no paintfill the soft black finish on the tour proto looks darker than the original. Three Luck has said this tour proto also has a a shorter neck and slightly wider sole made for the better player who wants to excel around the greens and easily escape bunkers when needed. These are the same wedges carried by top JLPGA MacGregor pro Saiki Fujita.
TSG has been lucky enough to get a few of these proto heads from the Three Luck Tour Van. I’ll have them up in the shop soon as heads only or shafted with your choice of KBS, Nippon, Shimada, Tour AD and new Motore Speeder Graphite Irons shafts. You’ll also be able to choose Iomic and Nowon grips and have them built to your specs. I’ll be shafting up a 51 and 57 to try with the new Motore Speeder 70i. Should be an awesome combo!

Hi Ajay,
You would order them directly from the TSG Pro Shop, To answer your question they are non conforming wedges but Three Luck also has a conforming version.
