Hmm, that looks better than the pictures I saw on wrx. The removable face doesn’t “stand out” as much. Still, I’m not sure I see the real world, i.e. public, benefit of the tech. Personally, I’d much rather buy a new wedge :P
The quality of the new Taylor made products have been a little disapointing the last 2 years. I cant really beleive that this product is going to be very popular with the end user I dont like the insert idea
I must admit to not being immediately enthralled by this concept. However, as someone who is very finicky about my wedge grinds, I guess these new TM wedges mean that when I get the grind right, the grooves will always be as new through replacement. My second reservation was in relation to feel, would there be subtle viabrations? is there a backing of rubber or the like behind the interchangable face which would mute or deaden feel? If Goosen and Perry report favourably on the feel, its certainly plenty goods enough for the rest of us.

Now, if they came out with a modifiable grind…

Looks like something to try. I like the idea of being able to freshen up with a new face and avoiding the buying and reshafting many of us do.
