2010 has flown by so quickly. It seems every year does. Christmas is a couple of days away and while it’s not a holiday here in Japan, many still consider it a special time of year for family and loved ones followed a week later by the much larger celebrated New Years Day. Since moving to Japan a few years ago, we’ve stopped putting up a Christmas tree (we actually left it in Canada) but my wife still gets into the holiday spirit by decorating around the house with little Christmas and holiday ornaments and figures. I’m thankful for that as I was able to use some of her figures on the shelf for my Seasons Greetings photo you see above. :)
In retrospective, 2010 was a challenging year economically, not only for TSG but also for much of the world. We were heavily impacted by the continuing strengthening yen and economic slowdowns affecting many of our customers worldwide. However, we continue to trudge ahead, hoping to offer everyone worldwide access to some of the coolest and most wonderful performing golf gear from the land of the rising sun. Like most of our customers, forum members and readers, we at TSG are golf enthusiasts and have been blessed to be able to mix our passion with our work, though it isn’t always easy. We thank everyone for their constant support.
On behalf of Tourspecgolf.com – Chris (Tourspecgolfer), Jacquelyn (Tourspecgirl) and Tario (gocchin… yeah that’s me), we would like to wish everyone around the world, seasons greetings, happy holidays, the best of health and happiness, and a lower golf score in 2011. It will be business as usual here at TSG through the holidays but expect slower response times and delayed order processing and shipments as Japanese brands shut down for the New Year.
As part of my Christmas present from my wife, I’ll be playing my last round of the year tomorrow in Mobara at Manna Country Club – The Gary Player course which is of course designed by Gary Player. It’s a beautiful and challenging course and I thought I’d share a few of the pictures with you courtesy of kimigolf.com (I had to borrow their pictures as I haven’t been there before so have none of my own). The par 3’s look to be very challenging!
In the next few days look for me to post my 2010 recap and 2011 outlook. Until then stop reading this blog and spend some time with your families! (^_^)
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to the TSG/GTI crew & all the members! :)
Thank you TSG for bringing this aspect of golf clubs to us. It has made me a well informed golfer of all things that i’ve thought in the past were not existing. such as the coolest most envied accessories and high quality clubs!!
You lucky dog, you. You make us all jealous as hell! Happy Holidays, don’t let all the fancy equipment and clothing confuse your game too much in the New Year! Keep up the good work, try to show us your swing on video when you next punt the ball 240 yards with that fancy driver, mmmmmmmmmK?
I have been trying to contact TSG for months about the Japanese Version of the VR Pro Combos but cant get any response..this usually is not the case with TSG, please help!
Hi Will,
