To say that this President is far different than the last is a drastic understatement. Their differences in opinion, policy and just about everything else are well documented, but today we find out there’s another difference we might not have known about…yep, Obama loves to golf, and is finding time just about every weekend to sneak in a round or two!
$1 a Hole for Obama & Friends
That’s right, looks like things have shifted a bit from Obama sneaking in as many pickup basketball games as humanly possible on the campaign trail. Now that he’s actually IN the White House and living in Washington, golf has become his national pastime. According to Time Magazine, Obama has actually been golfing nearly every single weekend of this summer. His playing partners often include Vice President Joe Biden, but more often than not it’s any number of his aides or often friends. Apparently he’s a gambling man, putting $1 a hole up, and refuses to give out any mulligans or long gimme putts. Time mentioned, even if it means getting a 10 on his card, he’ll play the hole out.

Hybrids Need Work…Putting Solid
I’m sorry, there’s just something cool about having a trash-talking President. Word is, he still needs a lot of work on his hybrid game, while he’s a great putter. Rumor is, he’s in the 16 to 24 handicap range. Not too bad for the leader of the most powerful country on the planet. Not bad at all!
