As the summer is coming closer to the end, news of new releases dubbed late 2011 or 2012 models are beginning to come out. PRGR has already announced a new iD435 driver and iD Forged iron and iD Forged Wedge Type C, all made for the better player and athlete golfer.
All 3 models are forged at Endo and made in Japan for premium feel and performance. The new iD435 driver is 435cc with a high back and deeper face with a focus on soft feel and optimal stability and distance. A forged ELF Titanium face provides high ball speeds plus pure feel at impact.
Both the new iD Forged irons and wedge are made from premium S20C steel and feature PRGR Spec Steel, S300 or Modus 3 shafts. The wedge is in fact a pro model used by Azuma Yano on the Japanese tour. With low bounce ie 58/6 and a progressive CG point ie higher CG in the 52* for a stronger stable high spin ball vs a lower CG in the 58* for higher soft landing shots in close around the green. The iD Forged iron also uses a chrome molybendum face for durability plus feel and features a constant height CG point throughout the set.
Look for the new models to be released in October but we’ll have reviews on the blog before then!
