Introducing the all new Mizuno ST200X Series – The ST200X series is a new breed of Mizuno metal woods, ready for the world stage in 2020. Created through a landmark collaboration between Mizuno’s Japanese and US R&D teams and played by Mizuno’s Tour players across the world. These ST models are considered global models; however, the ST series for the Japan market which we show here have slightly different flavors specific to Japan. The main differences are primarily the stock and the standard optional shafts as well as slight differences in length and swing weight.
Mizuno ST200X Driver
The ST200X driver features an extremely lightweight design to encourage a higher flight and draw bias – designed to work best with Mizuno’s own Japan specification MFUSION 39g shaft. The ST200X head has its own unique shape, additional heel weight, and upright lie angle, all working together to encourage a distance-enhancing, high draw flight. Built upon the increased ball speeds of Mizuno’s new multi-thickness Beta Rich Forged Titanium face. The ST200X driver is offered in a number of premium shafts including the Mizuno’s own MFUSION and Platinum MFUSION shafts featuring state of the art carbon nanotube fusion technology. These MFUSION shafts are only offered for Japan. For Japan, the ST200X driver is only available in 10.5 deg loft but adjustable from 8.5deg to 12.5deg using the Quick Switch adjustable hosel system. The Japan model ST200X have club lengths of 45.5″ to 45.75″ depending on the shaft chosen.
Mizuno ST200 Driver
The ST200 combines low spin and abundance of forgiveness – a high stability tour driver for players wanting straight line distance and predictability. Built upon a resilient Beta Rich Forged Titanium face that precisely reaches current tournament regulations and maintains its characteristics over time. Sound at impact is engineered for an enhanced sense of feedback and control. The Japan Market ST200 driver comes stock with a Tour AD GM200 shaft made by Graphite Design. Other premium shaft options are available like the Speeder Evo VI and Diamana ZF. The ST200 driver is only available in 9.5 deg loft with adjustability +/- 2.0 deg using the familiar Quick Switch adjustable hosel. The Quick Switch shaft adapters are compatible with previous year JPX, ST and MP drivers. Japan model ST200 drivers have club lengths of 45.5″ as standard.
Mizuno ST200X Fairway Woods
Mizuno announces that ST200 Fairway Wood is available for the global market, However, Mizuno released the Japan Market exclusive (JDM) called Mizuno ST200X Fairway wood and Utility. The ST200X fairway woods combine low spin and massive forgiveness for minimal distance loss from off-center strikes.
The Japan Only ST200X Fairway 3 wood (15 deg) is made with Beta Titanium Face and the 5 and 7 woods use MAS1C Maraging Steel Face. While the global version (ST200 without X) are only available in Maraging Face Version. Beta titanium alloy (2041Ti) used on the ST200X 3 wood combines strength and flexibility compared with the more commonly used 6-4 Ti alloy (6AI-4V), it has higher strength and is easier to shape resulting in high resilience performance.
The MAS1C Maraging Face: Delivers greater energy transfer and faster ball speeds across the clubface.
Mizuno ST200X Utility
The Japan Only Mizuno ST200X Utility – a utility in the pursuit of ease of flying and hitting – The Mizuno ST200X comes with Waffle Crown Shape Design in pursuing high trajectory x high spin at a low center of gravity position by making the inside of the crown a waffle shape.
The face is made of MAS1C maraging steel, which increases ball initial speed with high rebound performance. In addition, the low center of gravity and deep center of gravity allow the ball to be easily lifted and hit. Produces easy ball rise and powerful trajectory.
