Just a couple of weeks ago Michelle Wie started her own blog named the BlackFlamingo displaying her artistic talents. She’s pretty good and enjoys drawing, watercolor, and stencils work.
BlackFlamingo About Me:
so i never used be into art or anything about art. i hated art class back in 7 and 8th grade and just dreaded going to that damn art class. but all of a sudden (i’m a junior in college), the artsy fartsy wheels have just begun to spin. I have all of a sudden been obsessed with drawing, painting, spray painting, and anything to do with diy. so here is my first post i guess about my stuff. I dont feel like any of this fit into any category. maybe they do and im just hopelessly clueless about this stuff but i hope u guys what i do. and if no one likes it…then…oh wells…i guess im truly just a black flamingo
Check out her blog, it’s different, it’s raw and provides good insight into the other side of the golf prodigy’s life… The Black Flamingo
I visit her blog and found she writes very interesting.
When I read for the first time that Michelle Wie has a blog of her own, my first thought, for some reason, was that this could not be a good thing. I had this impression in my head that this has got to be a distraction for the girl making an earnest effort to establish her lost credentials on tour. But I must say while I was not excited about going on to her blog to see what it was all about, after reading your blog, I thought I would give it a look. I was incredibly amazed by the kind of stuff she has put on her website, which shows a completely different side.
The art is amazing and like you say rightly it is raw and she is trying to be herself. I am quite glad it is not about golf, because if she bothered let out her opinions on the game, the only thing that could have happened was that it would invited derisive comments.
Good blog Miss Wie. Now time for you go out there and really prove the worth that so many people had seen in you ages ago. And to be honest, she is capable of making it big on the LPGA. She just needs that first push I feel.
I don’t believe for one second that that blog is by Michelle Wie. The person in the pictures (even with the mask) bears no resemblance, and believe me, I’ve been studying Michelle Wie’s body for years.
Ben, you’re a total douche bag.
Ben – you are a serious douche bag. she’s a kid.
Rather useful piece
