Introducing the KYOEI DUAL WEIGHTED IRON, This is KYOEI’s first iron to feature adjustable weighting. An optional weight kit is available for those who want to increase or decrease the head weight or move a few grams toward the toe or heel.
To get an idea about who should play these or what they stack up to I would say they fit a very wide segment of golfers, The KYOEI DUAL WEIGHTED CB is what I call a semi-compact head size meaning it’s slightly larger than most players irons but not by much.
The CG locations are also lower than most player’s CB making it easier to launch. The heel to toe dimensions is a little longer than most players irons. As you can see in the photo above the blade-like offset and thin 5.5mm topline combined with a small increase in size make this iron suitable for the low and mid-handicap golfers.

To provide some comparison to other brands current model irons:
Miura TC-201 – The KK dual weight iron is softer all over, more forgiving and longer distance. It has less offset than the 201’s and has stronger lofts by 2*. The Head size is slightly larger on the KYOEI.
Epon 305 & 505 – The KK dual weight iron is softer all over, distance is longer than the 305 and equal to a touch longer than the 505. The KYOEI iron has less offset than both the 305 & 505. Larger than the 305, similar in size to the 505. The Epon 505’s weights are cosmetic and non-adjustable while the KYOEI dual weight iron is indeed adjustable.
VS. Multi-Piece Construction – The KK dual weight iron is softer all over and you can feel it’s forging much better than would with multi-piece irons. Multi-piece irons tend to feel spongy or synthetic due to the internal cavity and face material. Multi-piece irons are more forgiving with more distance loft vs loft. The KYOEI iron thanks to its 1 piece process has a better shape, better feel, and more consistent accuracy especially in the short irons.
The shape and head size was a major consideration when designing these irons. KYOEI identified what the middle ground would be for both single and double-digit handicap players. The top 2 requests from the hardcore enthusiast were blade-like offset and a thin top line. Kyoei set out on designing a forgiving distance iron with the less offset, a thin top line and stronger lofts.

Fantastic clubs…13 years in golf…used atleast 8 set…these are the best..especially 5 iron is easy to hit with good distance. I love the sole of the irons good interaction with turf.
