Last year saw the introduction of the first cord grip ever from ultra popular minus ion, soft and sticky, super colorful grip maker Iomic. It was a very popular seller but Iomic discontinued it early this year. The reason why? They simply designed a better cord grip to replace it! Iomic took feedback from many users around the globe bout the previous X-Fusion Cord and were able to create a new Iomic X-Fusion Diarrow grip in two sizes 2.3 and 1.8 which is softer than the original Cord but yet has considerably less torque! The new Diarrow utilizes a 5 layer design which creates control yet soft feel and enables Iomic as always to make some great color comb0nations.
At the same time Iomic used the same 5 layer technology to release X-Fusion Rombo a low torque control grip that is very soft and of course available in great two tone colors. I’m going to be brightening up my life with a set of X-Fusion Rombo’s to test out but just holding them at the Golf show felt great. Very soft with minimal twisting if any at all! As always both the Diarrow and Rombo will be avaialble in 2.3 and 1.8 thickness. These numbers specify the outer wall of the grip in mm. So the 2.3 is the thicker grip while the 1.8 can be used by those who want an undersized grip or for ladies. Both models are M60 standard core and available ribbed (backline) or round. They will be in the pro shop this week!
