Tomaru San who is a long time wedge crafting specialist has been building tour wedges in Japan with some of Japan’s most well known golf companies for many years.
Every wedge is produced custom for the player, none of the wedges are pre made or mass produced and they only feature the finest ( Japan Industry Standard grade materials ).
The options are vast, you can order a wedge anywhere between 45* and 62* with 0.5 degree increments available as well. You have the option of a dyed black finish, satin mirror or brushed satin along with a variety of standard and aftermarket shafts at your disposal.
The stamping is included in the price, well at least up to six characters and one of the Grind Studio logo’s. You may also use the modern GS logo at no additional cost and the “mt” Tomaru’s personal stamp or the text “PROTOTYPE” also included in the 375.00 MSRP.

The process is pretty straight forward, you inquire to TSG showing your interest and asking any questions you may have, we send you the wedge diagram where you can specify the type of grind you would like as well as other details and fax it back to us. The TSG support agent will review your requests and let you know if any more info is required or if something isnt possible.

These look pristine…! Gocchin, I noticed that they have GrindStudio irons in the pictures you posted…any more info you can share about these?? Do you know which foundry the forged heads come from for both the wedges and irons?
I have long admired their creations and what they can do. Very possibly I might be in need of their services in the future. They can create most anything with both substance and style.
