With over 6000 customers and more than 1200 products in the Golf To Impress pro shop, we have quite the following of hardcore golfers. These customers always want the best and we do our best to find the coolest and best performing products from the land of the rising sun. We’re always looking and working on adding to our product offering and we’ve got several things in the works that I thought we’d share with you.
We’ve had several requests for Mystery Golf Components and we have in fact built a couple of the Mystery CF-460HT Tour Model drivers with Diamana Kai’li‘s for customers who have been very happy with the feel and performance. In the past we had looked at Mystery which was quite the mystery to us and in recent years have continued to improve their woods, irons and wedge offerings. The CF-460HT driver is pear shaped driver with square face and a mid boring trajectory with low spin. Mystery has long excelled in making high end titanium heads but in the past their aesthetics left something to be desired. However, the new line of clubs do look considerably more tasteful. Add the better looks to great feel and performance and we have yet another high end component company to be added to the pro shop.
While I am not a fan of the MYSTERY stamping on their new wedges, they are forged in Japan from very soft S15C steel in a nickel satin finish and have a great shape and M style grind on them. These wedges are focused on control and feel and feel very very good.
Besides Mystery, we are also working on adding Akira Golf clubs which have done very well this year in Japan and especially with the recent success of Akira Pro Kenichi Kuboya at the British Open. While people outside of Japan may not know Akira Golf, in Japan it is actually a very good selling brand of clubs especially their ADR line of woods and Prototype wedges.
Two other items that golf enthusiasts have been really asking us about is Puma accessories and Shimada shafts. We are working now on getting Puma into the shop and Shimada steel shafts will be officially added next week.
Remember, just because you don’t see it in the pro shop doesn’t mean we can’t get it! Just contact us and let us know what you want.
