The Crazy 2010 Wedge we showed you guys last month wasn’t exactly the same one that arrived to us on Friday morning. We were given the go ahead on pre orders but no one mentioned the change in grind. Here it is and when we asked why the change they said that this version was improved and found easier to work in a variety of different turf conditions including bunkers.
I want to apologize to the customers who purchased the pre order under the assumption that they were getting the triple bounce sole . We held the shipment and have already contacted you so that we can go over if this version will work for your game, which it should in my opinion.
Below I have some images of the new grind from a variety of angles. I ordered a set for myself with the 50 ton carbon 100g graphite wedge shaft in stiff. There are three versions of the wedge 50T shaft and if you were to purchase it alone they run a heavy 200 bucks each. When purchased with the wedge you get it at half of that. The 50T carbon basically means that the shaft will return to its original shape quickly while maintaining a kick and feel. Some of my best Iron sets have had graphite in them the previous being Miura MB5003’s and now Epon AF-502 Irons with Crazy longest yard iron shafts soft stepped stiff flex.
These shafts even in graphite form are still very stiff and strongly reccomended for the harder swinger. The graphite shaft gives you a better sense of the head while the design of the shaft keeps everything extremely stable and accurate.
