I was lucky to receive a an all new, yet to be released, 2010 420cc Kamui Works Prototype driver the other day. The new 420 features a similar forged DAT56 next generation dimple titanium face that the best selling 456 Silver has. Like the 456, the 420 is hand made to real specs including face angle up to 2.0* closed and 2.0* open, real loft of anywhere between 8.5* and 12*. Lie angle can also be adjusted from between 58* to 62* and headweight can range anywhere from 195g to a heavy 210g. The head can also hand made to the customers preference of neutral, draw or fade biased with the internal head weighting.
The more compact head features a very traditional pear shape which retains a similar face height to the 456. The head does features a shallower and higher center of gravity resulting in a more penetrating mid trajectory shot unlike the 456 which is more of a high launch. The new 420 will provide the similar soft feel Kamui is known for and most likely be available in conforming and non comforming heads as always. Look for thew new 420 to be in our shop soon! Here are some pictures of the 10* head with 0* face angle finished in black metallic.

Looks fantastic. Anyone looking for a smaller head would be crazy not to consider one of these.
