In 2010 Graphite design will be releasing a new shaft called the Tour AD DI-6s. Already in wide use on the JPGA and JGTO tours the new DI Series will focus on increasing stiffness of the entire shaft by using a highly elastic resin that features a new nanotechnology material in the tip area. The goal is to achive a deeper kick at impact, often shafts that do provide kick do so late with most of the power being released just before impact. The DI-6s is supposed to provide the strongest point of the kick & release in the optimal zone so you achive maximum distance.
There are 4 versions of the Tour AD DI series shafts:
DI-5s 54-57 grams 4.7 torque ( CPM Adjustable by Tuning )
DI-6s 64-67 grams 3.4 – 3.3 torque ( CPM Adjustable by Tuning )
DI-7s 74-75 grams 3.2 – 3.1 torque ( CPM Adjustable by Tuning )
DI-8s 84-85 grams 3.0 – 2.9 torque ( CPM Adjustable by Tuning )
The difference is weight and torque each shaft shares the same bend profile and technology. Available soon at TourSpecGolf.com
