Last year Mizuno Japan released a very limited Black Collection including wedges, drivers, balls, caddy bag and accessories. Most of these items sold out within a week or two of release. This time around, Mizuno has introduced its all new Gin Collection to be released on September 18th. Gin in Japanese means SILVER and you guessed it, all the clubs and accessories have a silver theme. The MP-52 iron, MP G Series Wedges, RH0051 Putter all have a Silver Boron Finish. This is almost an icy silvery white satin look and as Mizuno Japan put it… “very cool”. There is no paintfill on any of the clubs.
There is also a limited edition Gin caddy bag as well as balls and accessories but I’m hearing that the balls may have already been allocated and sold out like last years all black Cross Eight balls. If you want the new Gin series clubs, you have to pre order soon as we can only get them from Mizuno on a per order basis. They’ve been added to the pro shop here!
