GTD Double Forged Wedge
Made of S20C Forged Carbon Steel with a cnc milled face pattern this wedge features a very versatile grind and bounce designed to increase the chances of up and downs even from the most difficult lie conditions around the greens.
In order for the student Professionals and trainees to score better, we focused on the aspect of making the wedge look natural to the eye at address as well as the bounce specs. 48,50 and 52 deg lofts have a sole grind which grinds the trailing edge just the right amount to help with better distance consistency.
The 56 and 58 is design so that players can really feel the effects of the bounce. The grind towards the heel has a more rounded form to make it easier to open the face more when needed.
The GTD Double Forged wedge is a simple wedge design that incorporates much of the “player’s request” into actual shape.
In my opinion, the GTD Wedge is shaped at address very similar to the new SM7/SM8 Vokey wedges. Its spin is excellent thanks to the milled face and its feel is that fantastic soft forged feel of S20C.
