Miura Giken CB-1008 Custom Finish + Custom Grind + Heavy Heads + Reduced offset | Pretty bad ass what TSG offers right?
Miura Giken (JAPAN) not to be confused with Miura North America is the real deal the Japanese models come with some pretty intense options which we will highlight after the jump…
Let’s start with the finish this may look like normal brushed satin beauties but they are actually Copper Underlay + Nickel + Chromium Brushed Satin Finish Irons and in hand they are beautiful. I’ve not hit these irons as we can’t keep up with supply at the moment but our customers who have are extremely happy with not only it’s soft feel but also the forgiving performance.
Miura Giken Japan has a program called Miura Craftsman World which TSG is able to custom order for our very best customers and supporters the program includes custom grinding, finishes, and paint of various sorts.
Custom Grind | The Sole Grind has trailing edge relief and leading edge relief so both sides are covered and in my opinion these are the most attractive two grind options to have period no matter it’s Miura or another brand.
The second custom grind is +2mm FP also known as less offset this here is the least amount possible offset that this iron can have.
Next up is the custom head weight each iron is + 4 grams! How cool is that? I Spec’d these out as many of our best customers could only dream of.
In the end we decided no paint fill in the MG logo and # on sole just because.
Please check out the standard spec blog post we did a while back by “clicking here” Thank you for reading and if you have interest in a very custom set like these please email [email protected] for a consult.
these are freaking crazy
Beautiful irons. Why may i ask do the Japan only models look much more higher quality than the USA models?
Copper under the Satin will make even soft forged irons softer. It must have a nice sound at impact.
