Dr. H loved his custom set of Yoro MP-69 so much that he decided to get a second set but this time using the MP-63 as a base. It’s our first set of MP-63 and they look simply awesome with the twilight finish. He also added another set of MP-R Wedges this time in black gloss!
Here are the specs!

I’ve really started to like the twilight finish and I’m not usually a fan of mirror type looks but the twilight has this mysterious look that changes with the light.
Dr. H stuck with the very nice Modus3 shafts and went with the MCC grips to match the paintfill.
Another beautiful set from Mizuno Yoro Craft. Yoro Craft is essentially tour service irons created from scratch specifically for each customer. This is the same service top Mizuno pros get. It amazes me how golfers are always willing to pay huge amounts for so called “tour issue” equipment that were meant for someone else when they can get their own “tour issue” set. Check out some of the other sets here. And we have a thread in the forum dedicated to discussing the Yoro sets here. Feel free to email us anytime for a quote!
Hey Gocchin – you know your TSG store website is down?
Site looks fine to me, doesn’t appear down from my end.
WOW!! They look outstanding!!! I can’t wait for them to arrive! What an experience to play with a “TOUR” Custom set made FOR me!! Golf to impress, is exactly what happens. Every round I have a certain pride, because someone, always comments on my equipment. I really don’t buy golf clubs and most accessories from anywhere but TourSpec. I want the best so…….there it is!
I just recieved them. I didn’t even wait for delivery. I called the Post Office, to let me know when they arrived, and i went down myself to retrieve them!!! They are magnificent. What a scultured work of form, so we’ll see howw they function, TOMORROW!! Update to follow.
Sorry for the typos!
Love the twilight finish, Congrats. Haven’t tried mine yet, in the thick of winter here and snow on the ground, preference between 69 and 63??
Sorry to hear that PADF! The 69s are much more of a purist club, smaller sweet spot. The 63s seem to hit flush easier. But when you pure the 69s, they are such a strong, boring shot. Impressive. Only 2 rounds in with the 63s. I post in a week or two. I was thinking of combing the two sets, and using the PW-6 with the 69s and 3-5 irons, hit the 63s. This combo set would give the best of both worlds. Any opinions? You have got to get out here, with all the other snowbirds. Watch my area on TV this weekend, at the Humana Tourney. The 15th on the Palmer course at PGA West is my hole in one HOLE. After seeing that, you’ll be out here in not time!! What is the name of your course and city??
Envious!!!! I’m up in the great white north, Edmonton ,Canada. Edm.petroleum golf and c club. months before I get out
Well, THIS is little Canada, where we are here in the Palm Springs area. MANY Canadians here. Played with a couple from Red Deer, last weekend. Did you see the PGA Tour on TV this weekend? I use to belong to PGA West. And have played those course you just saw many times. Well, keep swinging in the basement!!!! Cheers!
I really like the Mizuno MP-63 I like how it combines with an innovative Diamond Muscle design to create the perfect blend of feel and control in a “player’s” cavity.
Yes and the finish looks high quality
Update on my playing with Yorocraft clubs. I have combo-ed my MP 69s Pw-6 irons with the 3-5 irons of the MP 63s. And it gives me the best of both worlds. A true advantage when i sttep onto the course. I get a purist feel with the musclebacks and the short irons are such a precise, shot shaping club. And the cavity of the 63s give me that forgiveness i need for the long iron mishits. My handicap has dropped from a 14 to a 7 in this year since i have had my Yorocraft clubs. Along with Golftech lessons. but my equipment has contributed to this improvement. Yesterday i played with a 26 year old Pro friend and on a 220 yd par 3, we hit the same club, a 4 iron , he hooked his into the bunker, and i pured it 12 feet from the hole!!!! I’m 53 years old and my equipment allow me to be that much better!!!! IN YOUR FACE, youth , and golf pro!!! Golf to impress, is JUST that!!
Frank its great to hear the clubs are working out so well for you, its been a pleasure getting them made for you. Lets get those extra irons and your putter done for you now! (^_^)
My golf index is now a 4.0!!!!! I see that Mizuno is coming out with 2 new models this year!! And they look great!!! Can’t wait to have Yorocraft put together one of those sets for me next!! Eh? Gocchin??
