Well it’s 9:40pm on Christmas Eve here in Japan. While Christmas is not a widely celebrated holiday in Japan, nor does everyone celebrate Christmas, I thought I would take the time to wish all of our readers, customers and members, on behalf of Tourspecgolfer (Chris), Tourspegirl (Jacquelyn) and Tourspecgolf, a happy and safe holiday season.
It’s hard to believe another year has gone by so quickly. Reflecting back, 2011 was a difficult year, as the Economy struggled and the Japanese yen was simply overwhelmingly strong, both of which impacted our business at TSG. We did however trudge ahead, even through the shocking disaster of the earthquake and devastating tsunami which took many lives here back in March. On the equipment front, we saw many great products this golfing season some of which I will recap in a year end post next week on what we at TSG rated as the golf equipment of 2011. We look forward to an exciting 2012 in the JDM golf world with exciting new releases and hopefully better performing clubs than ever. If recent demo testing I have done of 2012 models is any indication, that wishful thinking will come true with some very hot clubs for golfers of all levels.
In the meantime, whether you celebrate Christmas or not, or even follow the same calendar, here in Japan and Asia the year of the Dragon is upon us and we hope it will bring good health, happiness and a better golf score for everyone no matter where in the world you are!
