It’s a long weekend here in Japan and my wife and I went to visit her brother in Inba. He works in the agriculture industry with a focus on vegetables and rice. They were roasting a pig at work today so I thought I would bring my camera long and I snapped a few as they carved it up.
The thing is when heading out to the countryside here in Japan, there can be times when there are a lot of things to take pictures of and other times when there is nothing at all to snap. I was not sure what I would shoot so I chose to bring by Nikon D5100 with 35mm f1.8G lens. I figured I’d be on the farms today so there would not be much landscape or architectural photos as I usually snap in Tokyo. Also not much for people street photography either unless you count my brother in law climbing a tree to get some fruits.
So I figured I would use the camera today shooting wide open as much as I could with a focus (or no focus) on capturing some abstract shots with bokeh and color.
