As many readers probably know, we at Golf to Impress – Tourspecgolf, not only love golf clubs from Japan but we also love everything about Japan including the culture, the electronics and gadgets and of course cars. We were lucky to be invited to this weekend’s Tokyo Auto Salon here in Chiba at Makuhari Messe.
The Tokyo Auto Salon is Japan’s biggest automotive tuning show and this year will have its biggest showing yet. I’m also looking forward to the D1 Drifting event held right outside the venue and checking out all the top car tuners from Japan. I’ll be sure to have lots of pictures and hopefully some video too! I’ve picked up a versatile Tamron 17-50mm f2.8 lens for indoor low light action so I’m looking forward to using it on my Sony a33.
In the meantime here are some promotional pics for the 2011 show using images from last years actual event. Be sure to check out our pics this weekend!
Wow those are some amazing cars!!! I really wish I could go
Love the offtopic event coverage such as the TAS! Can you please share more photos with us? it is a dream of mine to visit japan for the very first time while attending TAS!
Mike, I just got back from the event. It was awesome.
Will sort through all the photos this weekend and make a post!
