While walking the dog late this afternoon I took a shot of the 526 yard par 5 6th hole here at Kiminomori. The sun was beginning to set and no one was on the course any more. This hole is not a difficult hole as it’s rather straight and flat however, it’s a certain 3 on hole with its distance (at least for me).
It’s hard to believe the kind of weather we’ve been having here in Japan. As if this year was not already crazy enough with blazing hot weather lasting a very long summer, yesterday in the Kanto area it was a t-shirt worthy 24C!! Today reached 19C and it will be 18C when I head out to Katsuura on Monday. It’s no wonder we get to golf all year round here in Japan even though there are 4 distinct seasons. Hard to believe its December.
I already have members and customers overseas telling me their golf season is over until spring. I know what that’s like as I endured the long Toronto winters where the off season is as long as the playing season.
So how about you? Do you get to play all year round?

I’m envious! It’s starting to get colder here in Northern California although, we’re still getting days with the sun out now & then.
Southern California, baby.
