New TourStage X-Wedge 2011
TourStage has just announced it’s all new 2011 X-Wedge scheduled to hit the TourSpecGolf ProShop in late October for Early November shipping!
The new 2011 X-Wedge features an enhanced teardrop shape which set’s the optimal image in your mind’s eye for a sucessful and accurate shot.
It’s designed to be easily opened using a variable sole grind starting wider near the toe and becoming more narrow heel side. This gives the player an improved ability to open their shots for more forgiving bunker play or higher flop shots.
As usual TourStage has their angular CNC milling going across the face which has been proven not only to increase spin rates but also produce a more accurate result. The angular milling also gives almost an equal amount of spin with new 2010 grooves when compared to pre 2010 rule grooves without the angular milling design.
This makes the new TourStage X-Wedge a front runner in the rain, deep stuff, and all around difficult situations that usually zap spin.
Is this Nickel-chrome molybdenum similar or the same as the Fourteen wedges?
Fourteen lists – molybdenum alloy
Tourstage – molybdenum steel
Is there a difference?
I like the limited Maru 53/59 wedge set, nothing i’ve found feels so buttery smooth and soft and spin incredible and full control.
I’ve tried the ’09 X-wedges and they feel hard and I cannot like them. I was upset being used to the unmatched quality of Tourstage/Bridgestone.
Can someone explain?
thanks.
Similar t Made in China Fourteen Wedges? Doubtful.
