We received a couple more samples from the U.S offices of Fourteen & ONOFF Golf. Both brands are owned by the same parent company (Daiwa) but run separately out of Japan as well as the U.S. We were sent the new Fourteen SF-410 Fairway Wood as well as the new ONOFF Fairway Arms Plus+ model for photo’s and testing The ONOFF appeals to the better player while the fourteen can be used at any level. Keep in mind that we don’t give any special treatment to companies that send us demo’s and I will simply tell you my honest opinion.
When comparing the two side by side the ONOFF + model has a smaller more compact head with a taller and deeper face. It’s edges are more sharp reminding me of older Royal Collection’s fairway wood models. At impact it feels firm a little softer would be more to my liking. It doesn’t feel like your normal stainless nor Titanium wood in my opinion.
I was pleased to note that the ONOFF has a leading edge and lower face shape design that made it easy to pick off of the ground. I noticed with good shots the lowest part of the leading edge made good clean contact with turf where as other fairway woods usually make contact across the entire leading edge area. The picking sensation is obvious with this club and I can totally see it appealing to the better golfer.
Distance and Forgiveness is improved over the previous years plus model. I’m not sure if they heat treated the face differently but my hunch is that they did due to its more firm feel and that could contribute to it being hotter off the face. The trajectory was mid high for me although they market it as mid.
It’s available in 3 lofts 14/17/20all with face angles open 1*. Also flatter lie’s have been implemented for better control and accuracy. Interested? “Click Here” to Purchase.
The new SF-410 fairway wood by Fourteen Golf is my kind of wood. I can come out and say that both of these woods will not knock the PRGR EGGout of my bag but if the EGG didn’t exist the SF-410 would have a really good chance of being the one. It feels great, firm yet soft which is totally weird. Made of stainless steel and bigger than the ONOFF + its also more forgiving.
The trajectory was perfect, I consider it high with no balloon at all, It wasn’t as penetrating as the ONOFF but i feel it gave me better distance due to longer carry. It’s face is what I would consider medium depth which is what I usually look for. Fourteen calls it shallow but compared to my EGG it really isn’t.
The SF410 looks great at address as the 3 wood comes in at 190cc’s compared to the 161cc’s of the ONOFF. I do have a few problems with it, the stock shaft isn’t so hot but most of all they made the lie angles more upright. So get this, ONOFF say’s the flatter lie makes it more forgiving while Fourteen says the more upright lie adds forgiveness….
The lofts have been adjusted everything has been increased by 1* and in my opinion this helps playability. Available in 16/19/22/24*lofts. It will be listed in the TSG ProShop within the week. For now please enjoy the images below.

Good comparison review! Enjoyed reading about both the good and notso good aspects. I didn’t catch which gave you better distance. Were they too close to mention?
The Fourteen looks sweet! Note to self: Save your $$!
I meant save up your $$….big diff.
