The all new Geotech JF10 Prototype Iron is forged of J.I.S S25C in Himeji Japan. It’s actually very similar to the GT Tour Issue cavity minus a few details like the killed trailed edge and stamping.
Geotech is known for offering high quality Japanese forgings for very fair prices. The JF-10 is based from a brand new open model design created by one of Japan’s top foundries.
The new JF10 Forged has no engraving on it except the iron club number on the sole. It features a brushed satin finish to reduce glare at the better players request. Its face is sandblasted and is also R&A conforming to the new groove rules being implemented in the future.
The design is geared toward the advanced level player and the JF10 produces a soft feel at impact through enhanced vibration through the hands creating an increased sensation allowing the player to better know where the club face meets the ball.
It’s thin top line and minimal offset are also a preference desired by the better player and during the design phase extra volume was added behind the impact zone to achieve a balance of forgiveness through proper weight distribution and high dimensional stability.
