Mizuno T7 Wedge by Yoro Craft

Mizuno T7 Wedges8

The brand new Mizuno T7 wedge but this one done up by Mizuno's very own Yoro Dept.  I'm a big fan of Mizuno Japan's MP-R5L and W series which are grind and spec specific for the steep or shallow swinger and comparing the new Japan T7 to those this one is really about versatility and in hand it reminds me of a vokey,  a really soft impact vokey ;).   Follow the Jump for more pics and info on this yoro crafted beauty.

Miura MG-S01 Wedge - Miura Japan not to be confused with Miura Global has released their newest model of wedge.  The MG-S01 which is what I would classify as a semi game improvement wedge due to it's extra size, width, and shape.

Itobori Burning Copper Wedge

_DSC1670-Edit

Burning Copper Finish - This can be done to any of Itobori's golf clubs including Irons, Wedges, and Putters. It's a finish that starts off as copper then it's torched by hand to have a unique look to it so no two wedges are exactly alike.  Over time the wedge begins to patina creating a more chocolate rust colored tone to it.  Please follow the jump for more photos..

Razzle Dazzle Wedge in Black Boron by TSG Club Works

Razzle Dazzle Golf Wedges6

A couple weeks ago I posted photos of a new wedge by a company called Razzle Dazzle.  A long time friend and associate Abe-san formerly of RomaRo Golf who I haven't seen in years surprised me with a tap  the shoulder at the 2016 Japan Golf Fair "Hey Chris!" what a pleasant surprise to see he is doing well and has started a brand that immediately had JPGA tour players support.

These wedges are unique and feature a high bounce in 13* and 15* making them very easy to play.  A "Claw Sole" has been notched into the toe area it starts almost midway on the sole with enough relief to give the player a good amount of play to open and tilt the face.

Normally in a Satin Finish TSG Club Works has put their special touch on these giving them a unique and durable black boron finish.  This finish is a plating so it holds up very well,  the black also hides size making this wedge appear more compact so in the end you can have a very forgiving wedge that doesn't look oversized at all.  Follow the Jump for more...

RAZZLE / DAZZLE Wedges

DSC00518-Edit

Razzle/Dazzle - A name that may not ring so well in the ears of westerners yet a wedge design that could help a range of players with their short game.  The concept behind these wedges is what they call the "Claw Sole" it's a design that coupled with higher bounce produces easier and more consistent results around the green.  Let's start with a unique aspect of these wedges,  the bounce with 13 and 15* available which is much higher than most on the market today.  This is especially for two types of players,  those who have a steep descending strike and those who play softer or wetter conditions.  The extra bounce also aids those who often finds themselves in bunkers or play courses with tall rough or soft sand.
