Rare Mizuno Black IP MP-15 Ti Muscle Irons

Mizuno Yoro Craft Irons9

Something special for everyone today,  the Mizuno Japan only MP-15 forged irons.  In the states Mizuno went with the MP-25 and I have no idea why as these MP-15’s pack more tech and have a better shape.   The head size is roughly the same as the MP-59 irons but they made the cavity deeper lowering the cg depth and added weight that expands across a large portion of the head heel to toe.  We have a ton of great pics to show you after the jump…

The SEVEN MB is BaCK!

DSC01687

After many months of not having any stock we finally received more of the Seven X Shinagawa MB. Unfortunately, it’s only 25 sets, but we are doing our best to get more. This is a custom finish called white satin completely matte no glare with good durability and excellent feel. The standard no up-charge finish is copper under chrome satin! Let me repeat these come stock with copper underlay + nicr chrome satin.

Another thing we are doing now is offering #5-PW with optional #4 this was a common request, and we listened, the last time it was 3-PW only. So those are the two differences this year for the SEVEN MB, Copper Underlay, 5-PW option, and a new finish offered called white satin. Follow the Jump to Read More…

Honma’s new low handicap driver – TW737 445!

DSC01396-Edit

The Tour World Honma 445 Driver – There are 4 drivers in the new 737 driver line up the 445, 450 455 and 460 from smallest to largest.  The most obvious differences are that each head has different cg locations,  individual head designs and face structures.  Today we are talking about their low handicap pro level driver the 445.

The new TW737 445 is designed to for reduced spin,  workability and to avoid the left side allowing the hard hitter to go after it.  The cg is high and the face not as deep as most tour clubs which allowed them to add extra forgiveness but expanding it’s outer diameter.  Lots of photos and information after the jump…

The New Ryoma F Fairway Wood!

DSC01179-Edit

The New 2017 Ryoma Fairway Woods -Do not compare these to your normal fairway woods; the usual FW is generally in stainless steel with a maraging face.  Not even close the new Ryoma F has an ultra thin body that contracts then expands during impact for more rebound,  the entire body is lighter and thinner allowing Ryoma to add a 125g weight internally. 65g in the rear they call power booster and 60g up front for power spring.

Combined with Ryoma’s exclusive face material across the board players are gaining a 4.47mph average increase in initial ball velocity which equals about 15 yards when compared to other traditionally designed fairway woods.  Follow the Jump for more photos…

2017 Titleist Forged Vokey Wedges (JAPAN ONLY)

Titleist Forged Vokey 2017 Wedge

Titleist Vokey Forged Wedge 2017 – There are many of you waiting for the news,  March 17th Titleist will release the new 2017 model forged vokey wedges.  These are not your normal wedge and it’s obvious Titleist is really stepping things up.  Bob Vokey designed these and upgraded the technology within the head to meet the needs of tour players in Japan.  There are three center of gravity designs that depend on the loft you choose.  The major difference is the CG locations vary between models.   Low CG is offered in 48* thru 52* / Mid CG from 54* thru 56* and High CG 56* to 60*.

2017 Vokey Forged Wedges

Usually you see solid 1 piece designed wedges but Titleist is going all out on with a progressive CG design using multi materials while the club looks solid with a blade like back face.  The body is soft forged while the face is titanium.  There is also nickel and tungsten used for the weighting.  Titleist Japan is using the TX4 groove with parallel milling in between each groove.  They have also killed the leading edge to help the steeper swinger although these work perfect for sliders as well.  The method of manufacturing is called Forged (Co-Forged)  and I am not sure what this means yet but will find out.

Available in Satin or Black PVD with lofts 48/50/52/54/56/58/60 with DG S200, NS950, Modus 120, Zelos8 and a new carbon Diamana VF shaft.  Like the new 718 T-MB these wedge have increased in price as well retailing just under 300 bucks each with steel shafts.  Enjoy the spec sheet below and these are already in the TSG Pro Shop for Pre-Order.  First batches go quick!

Titleist 718 T-MB New for 2017!

Titleist 718 T-MB

Introducing the New Titleist T-MB 718 Irons – The 2017 Japan Golf Fair is nearing just a couple of months away scheduled to take place during the last week of March.  We are expecting many new Japan Only Titleist clubs mostly due to the fact that we are getting notices of current models being discontinued.  It started with the Vokey Cold Forged then the T-MB and now we are starting learn a bit more about what’s next to come from Titleist.

Like the 716 T-MB the new 718 T-MB by Titleist looks like a muscle back but features a hollow structure making it very forgiving for it’s size.  This is the first sight of a model named “718”  with the 716 series destined to be replaced with the same moniker on the future.  Titleist has expanded the tungsten structure on the heel and toe side bringing the MOI up and lowering the CG to make it even easier to hit.   We do expect a #2 iron as well.  Titleist Japan is saying that they have found a way to make the new T-MB more forgiving than even the current model AP2.   TSG will have pre-orders up for these very shortly so stay tuned!
