Ummmm  “PERRRRFECT” .. how do they do it?    I always thought CNC machined irons and putters would feel soul less and cold and that manual grinding by an experienced craftsman was the only way to make putters and irons lively and special.   Click here for more…

DSC07543-Edit

Introducing the USA Exclusive Finish for the SEVEN CB – BLACK IP!  Last week we posted the Korea Only GOLD IP exclusive (click here).  Today we are highlighting our BLACK IP finish which will only be sole and shipped within the United States.  For those of you who don’t have an idea what the brand SEVEN is you can get up to speed here – ( Seven Blog Posts Click Here ) .

Based on our more than 15 years in business its evident that American golfers gravitate to black finishes in their blades and cavity backs.  This finish here is very durable and will not rust.  The standard NiCR chrome finish is first applied then we send the heads into a factory for the Black IP treatment which bonds with the clubs original plating.  The wear pattern will expose the standard finish in areas that make impact with the ball or turf.    Ready for more?  Follow the Jump…

Review: JBeam Galpha Driver

DSC09703-Recovered

Had a chance to shaft up this  Jbeam Galpha  driver with a TRPX  Xanadu to give it a whirl.    First off,   looking at the head at address,  shape wise very reminiscent of the legendary JBeam BM 435 ( aka Crazy CRZ 435 ) .   I have not checked recent stats,  but at one point the BM 435 was the most popular driver used among Japanese Mid Am players in competitions.    I also noticed that the paint had some colorful glitter mixed in.  Adds a touch of bling to the overall look.      At 445cc,  it definitely looks smaller than the said volume due to the deep profile.   Looking at the sole,  I do like the new design where it uses a mix of IP finish and mirror chrome accents.   Nicely done JBeam!    Face milling is present on this model as well.   It is said to provide slightly lowered spin.  Click Read more to continue…

DSC06846

When we (TSG Club Works ) take on a custom job for our customers we are especially excited when the clubs are unique, cool and even a challenge.  1 piece club forged club head designs are pretty easy to work with when it comes to refinishing, and they require no cavity paint but 2 piece designs bring its own set of difficulties which require extra time, communication and money.   Today there are many people who offer golf club modifications yet few who understand quality.  Want a beautiful super high quality finish?  Ship it to Japan and allow our golf specific plating factories do what they do best.   Follow the Jump for more…

2017 Mizuno Frame Walker Stand Bags

mizuno-frame-walker-small

2017 Mizuno Frame Walker Stand Bags are here!!  Not sure how many folks here in the TSG community actually prefer to walk and carry their bags on the course,  but I actually carry my bag pretty much all the time.  My wife thinks golf is good exercise as long as I walk!!   So I walk.   I do think walking provides a better overall rhythm to my game where the walks in between shots give me enough time to think about my next shot as well as other things including how I should look into trying new clubs etc…  you get the picture.  :)     When I occasionally ride,  it seems to totally mess up my game.   Click to read more…
